OUR VISION
Become recognized locally as a leader in providing funding to health and human service organizations serving all citizens of Scotland County.
PURPOSE
Manage an annual fundraising campaign in a cost effective manner on behalf of the health and human service needs of Scotland County.
Seek and develop alternative funding sources.
Conduct a fund distribution process led by community volunteers that reflects the interest of contributors and funds services of member agencies.
Provide oversight and accountability for funds raised, funds distributed and results achieved.
Work together with other organizations and individuals to identify programs that positively impact health and human service problems in Scotland County.
Act as an information and referral service.
Heighten the community’s awareness of the efforts of United Way of Scotland County to improve the quality of life for all citizens.
